It brings out VBUS×2, GND×2, and CC1/CC2 for proper plug orientation, current advertisement (Default/1.5 A/3 A), and optional USB Power Delivery negotiation to higher voltages and currents. No data pins (D+/D−, SS, SBU) are present, improving robustness and simplifying PCB layout. A reinforced metal shell with multiple ground tabs and through‑hole stakes provides high mechanical retention and a low‑impedance path to chassis for EMI/ESD control. Gold‑plated contacts ensure low resistance and long service life. Available in right‑angle SMT with shell stakes, vertical THT, and mid‑mount options; panel gasket and dust cap are available for system‑level sealing.
